I am an adaptable and practical individual with a creative approach to work and strong decision-making skills.
I have enjoyed a varied and successful career, from operational roles in transport and logistics in the aviation, postal and cool-chain distribution sectors, to network planning in telecommunications and management roles in the civil service and a local insurer. I’ve also enjoyed customer facing roles in the automotive service industry. I am now a publicly elected States Deputy (Member of Parliament) for Guernsey.
I previously held PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner project management qualifications, using these in new product and process implementations. I have also applied these skills in my personal life in various home renovation projects.
I previously thrived in dynamic operational environments and have demonstrable experience in delivering and maintaining excellent customer service, through instilling strong work principles across teams.
In my more recent roles, I have used my skills to analyse data, identify problems and create solutions using a pro-active, analytical and controlled approach.
In my roles in the telecommunications and insurance sectors, I confidently and regularly engaged with all kinds of stakeholders, Politicians and public bodies.
I enjoy the challenge of providing excellent service to the client, adapting my communication style to suit any environment. I am motivated by supporting a team, delivering change around tangible products and all the challenges this may bring.
My strengths include being a reliable, calm, confident, affable person who can deliver measurable training and coaching, coupled with delivering excellent customer service
I am looking for an additional challenge, where I can apply my knowledge, experience and skill set to enhance business success.
